These are the sundresses my mom made by hand to throw over our bathing suits after enjoying a morning at the beach.
Afterward, we'd pile in the car and go to Grandma's Agnes' house for some fresh fish and pigeon peas and rice after scrubbing our dresses clean of sand in the wash tub.
While sipping Grandma's sweet tea, we'd watch as our dresses dance with the wind as they dried on the clothesline amongst the lemon and mango trees.
It was Beautiful...Joyful...Delightful...
